Abstract

The relation between poverty and human rights open a wide range of possibilities for legal thinking. The objective of this work is to analyze links between poverty, human rights, public politics and public budgets, exploring interactions and possible consequences, basing his reflection on the interpretation that has been made from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation on the rights to human dignity and the minimum subsistence figure, the responsibility that derives for de State as responsible for the national economic direction and the elaboration of public policies and budgets.
