Within a criminal proceeding, the expert is considered a procedural subject who has an important participation in clarifying the criminal act and the alleged participation of a subject in a criminal act; The offer of an expert opinion within an investigation or a judicial process implies the provision of means of evidence that are viable, convincing and that meet the requirements for full acceptance. As time has passed, it has been shown that expert evidence is an effective test, however, technology and the updates that have been given have caused a judge to take into consideration the opinion of the experts within the procedural development, that is, So, as will be seen in this research work, it is necessary that those who practice expert evidence primarily must bring together a series of qualities and profiles, in such a way that they can provide credibility and efficiency in what they are presenting. Likewise, we will see the need for expert opinions to be regulated regarding the form of their presentation.
